Is it bad to call out sick after you resign?
I have sick days- and next monday is the 3 year anniversary of my Mom passing
would it be so bad to call out sick?
thursday is my last day
and I am going to be late on Wednesday b/c I have traffic court b/c of a speeding ticket I got on my way here
I guess it doesn't matter- I just so bored-

I just gave two weeks, 2 days notice at a jobh where I am temporary. Well, I didn't give it - I'm moving to a new position in the same university and my start date was chosen for me by the current HR person. I took today off, will be in late tomorrow, and just found out I need another sick day for a lab test that takes a few hours and may leave me feeling ill afterwards.
So, maybe I'm a bad one to ask, but I'd take it if I gave two weeks +.

U may not get paid for the sick day since u resigned but it's for a good reason.

I gave two weeks but went on vacation one of those weeks. As long as you are on good terms I wouldn't worry about it.

I think it's expected that you will not come in for the full 2 weeks after you resign. Most people take that time off after passing off cases/workload to the next person.

Just don't call in sick on your last day!
Someone here did that & left a lot of unfinished work , with no explanations. She actually had her BF cal lin for her. 
Unfortunately, she knows better than to use any of us as a reference.
