Tuesday's Gossip
James Blunt kept his party gears well oiled this weekend. The Brit singer dirty-danced with one woman after another at Tenjune in the Meatpacking District till 4 a.m. Friday night, closing it down. The next day it was out to the Hamptons, where Blunt started his festivities at James Taylor's Hampton Social @ Ross concert.
Much-taller Mischa Barton greeted the singer by running up to him and bending down to throw her arms around his neck, squealing, "There he is!" The two shared dessert, but as she talked, says our spy, Blunt became less and less enthused. He eventually ditched Barton and moved on to Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.
Mary-Kate multitasked by smoking and singing "Fire and Rain" as the three stood earnestly in the front row, bopping their heads to the beat. Then it was back to Mischa, who was good enough for Blunt to take to the Pink Elephant after the show. But the leggy starlet got her revenge and left him before the night was over. No prob: Blunt stayed to drink and party until 4 a.m. again, flirting with blonds and brunettes alike.
Also catching the Taylor show was Paul McCartney, who arrived with designing daughter Stella and her husband, Alasdhair Willis. The melodic genius kept a low profile until he started hanging out with Christie Brinkley, whom he met ages ago through her ex, and his close pal, Billy Joel. Across the grounds, Ronald Perelman accompanied actress (and Daryl Hannah doppelganger) Lori Singer to the show. Don't panic, the Revlon mogul is still seeing Anna Chapman - Singer is an old friend.
Brooke Shields also turned up with her pregnant friend Jill Hennessy, fresh from having spent the day celebrating the birthday of Brooke's mother.

Talk about a hunk and his junk! "Fantastic Four" star ChrisEvans admits he sometimes takes out the trash in the nude. "I have a nice backyard. It's very secluded, so every now and then I might just run out quickly and take the trash out," he says. Wonder what the garbage men think ...

GONE are the days of Paris Hilton picking at her bikini bottoms on the beach, changing guys like underwear and partying nonstop - but sources close to the ditzy heirhead tell Page Six her new grown-up attitude is nothing but a big, phony act.
Recently, Hilton has been seen in conservative one-piece bathing suits, hugging tiny tots for the cameras and acting demure with the paparazzi. But it's all the work of spin doctor Michael Sitrick and his crisis management team, Sitrick & Company, our sources say.
"Paris hired a crisis publicist because of all the negative attention after she got out of jail. But it's just for her public image," one Hollywood insider said.
And those close to the heiress doubt she can keep the good-girl act going too much longer. "She's being smart right now, but she's a party girl at heart . . . we'll just have to wait and see," dished one pal.
After Hilton's stint in jail, she abandoned longtime publicist Elliot Mintz for Sitrick, who's handled Ryan Phillipe, Rush Limbaugh and Naomi Campbell during their own scandals. Since then, in addition to dressing more like a classy socialite and avoiding late-night stumbles out of Hollywood clubs, Hilton - who now parties away from the cameras in her Malibu house - has stopped her longtime habit of chatting with photographers.
"You can tell that it's hard for her that she is not supposed to be seeking the attention anymore," said one Hilton lensman. "She is going to the types of events that her people tell her to go to. But she is definitely staying away from the club scene. Paris is all about her dogs and hanging out alone."
Just like any good flack, Sitrick takes no credit for Hilton's sudden transformation.
"Paris said when she got out of jail that it was a life-changing experience, and indeed she has changed," he told us. "She's more involved in charities now - from volunteering at Children's Hospital in Los Angeles to her being a sponsor at a spinal cord injury fundraiser and more. People may try to read something into this that's not there - but that is who she is."
Whatever you say, Mike.
Meanwhile, Mintz says he remains Paris' "media consultant and dear friend."
******************************** GET ready to cringe during Sir Ben Kingsley's new movie, "The Wackness," in which the Oscar-winner, 63, passionately locks lips with tiny Mary-Kate Olsen, 21. Currently shooting in New York, the film directed by Jonathan Levine is about a drug dealer who trades marijuana for therapy sessions with his shrink, played by Kingsley. Insiders say the steamy scene with Olsen - described as a "full on make-out session" - was shot at a Greenpoint watering hole.
******************************** MARIA Menounos is an incurable workaholic. "I really don't like to go on vacation," the "Access Hollywood" beauty told us at the opening of the new Elie Tahari store in East Hampton. "And usually when I do, I end up booking a flight to go home early." Menounos did make the most of her Hamptons weekend, however - she was spotted having a quick toast with Karolina Kurkova, Selita Ebanks and Miranda Kerr at the Victoria's Secret Beauty Secret Garden event in Sag Harbor.

UNLIKE some celebrities who abandon their rehab programs at the drop of a hat, Robin Williams remains committed to his sobriety. The comic, who's currently filming "Old Dogs" with Kelly Preston in ritzy Greenwich, Conn., was spotted "wandering around on foot for 15 minutes," until he finally "approached a local and asked where the AA meeting was being held." According to our tipster, "Robin asked the right person and was directed to the church down the block, where he was a few minutes late." A rep for Williams had no comment.

TMZ has learned Arizona Cardinal's QB Matt Leinart has settled his custody dispute with Brynn Cameron, but it's still war!
Sources say under the terms of the confidential agreement, the former couple will share joint legal and physical custody. Brynn will have primary custody, but Matt will have substantial contact with his 10-month-old son, Cole. We're told under the temporary agreement, which lasts through football season, Matt will fly to L.A. every Monday and spend 24 hours with Cole. On alternate weekends, Brynn will fly with Cole to Arizona the night before Matt's games -- Matt will spend the evening before the game and the day of with his son.
In the courtroom hallway today, a TMZ staffer heard Brynn say, "Britney and Paris aren't allowed to be around the baby!" We're told that's not part of the custody settlement. As far as we know, Leinart has had no recent contact with either woman, but we do know he sucked face with both of them in the past.
Several people familiar with the former couple say Brynn has been jealous and upset because Matt refused to marry her. For her part, Brynn has questioned Matt's commitment to his son. Matt is the one who petitioned for more custody.
Under the settlement, while one parent has the child, the other can't visit Cole uninvited. We're told the first time Matt had the baby overnight, Brynn stayed outside his door the entire evening.
Under the deal, Brynn, a basketball player for USC, can travel with Cole during her season. As for moolah, the temporary order locks the amount of child support she receives at $12,500 a month.
Both Brynn's lawyer, Ron Rale and Matt's attorney, Laura Wasser refused comment.

Britney Spears’ former bodyguard Daimon Shippen was served with two subpoenas by Kevin Federline’s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan on Monday night.
The subpoenas will require Shippen to testify in the couple's custody trial over sons Sean Preston, 23 months, and Jayden, 11 months.
Shippen was served late Monday night by the same process server who delivered a subpoena to Spears’ ex-assistant, Alli Sims, on Saturday night.
According to a source close to Federline, Shippen "was completely surprised to be served. He was dumbfounded and in a state of shock."
The Federline source believes that Shippen "is in a unique position having worked with Britney for a long time and has incredible knowledge of her parenting skills and comings and goings."
The insider adds that we can expect more people in her circle to be served.
"This is an ongoing operation," says the source.
