He takes great care of me both physically & emotionally.
He always makes me smile.
He will do just about anything to make me happy.
When I am with him I always feel safe & secure especially wrapped in his arms.
He treats me like a queen and has from the time I met him
He has always been VERY loving to my daughter which was very important to me.
He puts up with my moodiness!
After being together for a few years we went for a weekend trip to the beach house (which has always been like a mini-moon for us) I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him. John would never break a promise to me so I asked him to promise me something....."That he'd marry me someday" He said sure! And He did!

He is the only one who understands me completely. It taks a very special person to deal with all of my "quirkiness" and love me in spite of all of it. He is also the most selfless person I have ever met. He puts everyones needs way above his own. I also knew he would make a great father. There was a moment when we were first together when I was watching him play with his niece. He was so great with her. I remember thinking, I want this man to be the father of my children.

#1 He was the only one who asked.
#2 Football season was over and he was bored.
All kidding aside...
#3 He was able to meet my entire family (cousins included) after dating one month at a major function. Took it like a trouper.
#4 He was at my side through my father's entire illness and never once left me alone to deal with things solo. He even sat at his bedside with me and told my father he would take care of me because Daddy couldnt do it anymore. If that doesnt say it all, then nothing could.

The reason is that I had never met anyone who was so perfect for me. We, in ever aspect, complement each other, to the point, where everything I see, do and enjoy, is only so because she's a part of it

My husband is just so different from any other guy I dated. But as soon as I met him I just understood that he was the best, most genuine person I had ever met. Everything else just sort of followed and nearly 15 years later, even when I'm annoyed that he doesn't understand that wet towels DO NOT belong on the bed, I can still make that same statement.

we had to write letters to the Rabbi about why we wanted to marry each other.
We had some funny moments. I wrote a very sappy serious letter and he wrote some stuff that was supposed to be funny.
He wrote that I am a great cook but I also make great reservations!!
Mostly because we are part of each other. We finish each other's sentences, we can sit down for a meal and not say a word and just look at each other, we have the same values about everything and we want to be a family.
I couldn't picture the rest of my life without him by my side.

So many reasons...
Obviously I was and still am physically attracted to him, but it was his other traits that made me want to spend the rest of my life with him.
He makes me laugh, and also gets my corny jokes. He "gets" me.
He is my best friend, we can talk for hours about anything and everything, and at the same time we can just be together without saying a word and feel comfortable just being together.
He puts up with my annoying quirks and negative traits, and at the same time inspires me to be a better person. He's very responsible and very organized.
While we were dating I saw him with my little cousins and other kids and knew he would be an awesome dad someday (and he IS!). I also saw how he treats other people- he treats even strangers with respect, and is very close with his family. He always treated me with respect and never cursed at me, and was sensitive to my feelings.

There's soo many reasons why I want to eventually marry John. For starters, he accepted me and thought I was beautiful when I was at my worst physically. He made me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world and drove my confidence levels to heights it has never seen in my entire adult life.
He completely "gets" me and understands both the good and the dark sides of me better than any man has ever.
He has accepted my daughter and loves her like a father. Being a STB single mother; that is super important because many times I see "step" children sidelined or get lost in the shuffle of blended families. His priority is not only me; but her as well. Just yesterday at Boobobunny's little guys birthday, he blew major bucks so that she could take home something "cooler" than a 300 pt earaser or other piece of junk. He wanted her to be happy. It's the little things he does that makes me take notice of how generous and considerate he really is.
I hear EVERYDAY, even on the days when things aren't all roses and rainbows how much he loves me and how grateful he is that I'M in HIS life. Nevermind the things he does for me, he's grateful for ME. I have never heard those words from a man, ever.
He spoils me to pieces, is good to my heart and has made me the happiest I've ever been. Do I have reservations? You bet! Are there issues that need to be resolved? Uh-huh! But overall, he's a good man and he truly loves me. Loves me to the point where I'm scared to pieces..I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop. Some in my life feel that I'm rushing, I'm selfish or that my head is not on straight. To them I say "too bad". No one has to walk in my shoes or has to live my life (as completely unhappy I was for so long). My approach to my daughter as well as my own life is soo different than it used to be (before I met him). Life is soo much better, richer and fuller...I feel like I have someone on my side and who is there for me.

I'll list some reasons:
Of course b/c I love him.
He is my best friend.
I trust and respect him on a level I never did anyone else.
He makes me laugh; we have always have fun and a great time together at home or when out.
He accepts me for me, never wanted to or tried to change me.
He is never puts me down or makes me feel inadequate; he is always respectful of me.
He is caring, kind, thoughtful and considerate.
He would do anything for me and now for our family.
We share the same values and want the same things in life.
He is very giving.
And basically b/c I knew he was my soul mate. I have never met another person who made me so happy. Who took the time to get to know me and loved me for me, the good and the bad.
Plus, We always joke that noone else would ever want us b/c we shave such a sick, twisted, bizzare sense of humor when joking around and laughing with each other.
I couldn't have said it better myself! Also wanted to add that he always goes out of his way to make sure that I am happy

because he is such a good guy, not perfect, but a solidly good guy.
I know how much he loves me, as is,and it makes me feel like a million bucks.
He calls me out when I am being a brat.
He makes me laugh,
He's adorable.
He's strong.
