Re: I had one of the most stressful days ever-Freddy related and loooooong
...story of my life....
All I can say Susan is things have a way of working themselves out, then another curve ball gets thrown at you....
I guess I'm not much of an inspiration... I just know 110% where you're coming from & what you're going through.
I hope this virtual hug helps! Along with lots of these...

thanks all for your support. I had a long talk with DH finally and I have his full support needless to say..silly me that I was worried.
I doesn't help that AF is visiting.
I will make a few calls on Monday as well as go to the hospital to get a really good read on the timing. I will talk to the case manager.

there are so many logistics to work out. It's overwhelming but it's got to work out. Somehow..

I would also speak to the hospital social worker if they have one. They can be a Godsend.
Duh- just saw that you did this- could he contact a collegue that works in Nassau county to help?

I'm going to try that. I need more help than I'm getting. I would think the social worker would be on top of this, but he was also under the impression it would take longer. Who knows, it's possible that the physical therapist I spoke to doesn't really know the whole thing. It's a team oriented prgram where everyone weighs in. I thought I had about 6-8 weeks to make this happen not 2. Most likely the insurance co will keep paying as long as he makes progress. I don't see him ready to come home yet, but the insurance company can pull the plug on us. I guess we can always fight them..the therapists would fight for us too.
