i would go just to relax. as soon as you see dark clouds though get moving. i love being by the water and feeling relaxed and content........imho, i'd go.

Not that it matters, but Im in SI and it is complete overcast here. It looks like its about to pour. We usually get the rain before you guys in LI, so just as a precaution...
First time in YEARS Im not working. (Im inbetween jobs right now) I would have LOVED to go to the beach today. Figures.

I heard on the news today would be a decent beach day but later it will turn crappy. I'd go, it may be a while before we have a beach day again.

I hope you went! It is GORGEOUS down in Long Beach - probably one of the best beach days I've had all summer - the beach was so nice and quiet!

I know!!!!
We went to Robert Moses....amazing. The water was so warm and the waves kicked a$$. I was doubtful but I am so happy we went.
