i can sum up the key debate points in one simple post
Those for posts being moved say that since many people asked for different boards, those boards should be used. The only way they'll be used is if relevant posts are moved there..
Those against post moving cite the following:
Who cares - don't like it, don't read it
It's arbitrary because some posts are moved, while others aren't
This board gets more traffic - and every post on here, is technically NFR
did i hit all the key points?

You forgot that some topics posted on NFR, which really belong on NFR, get moved to another board because they have the slightest inclination of another topic which has a board of it's own.....

There must be at least 7 posts about this per month.
They are moved b/c TPTB at LIF decided to move them.
Some people are really particular about certain things going on certain boards.

There must be at least 7 posts about this per month.
They are moved b/c TPTB at LIF decided to move them.
Some people are really particular about certain things going on certain boards.

which can morph into a discussion about whether or not a person has a right to tell someone what to post
which can morph into the argument of not reading something you don't like
which can morph into the argument of this being a public forum and everyone having a right to post what they want
and so on...

Simple answer is to read the related topics like I posted in the first place. I guess it is slow today................
I'll throw this out there, there are a couple other boards that post unrelated topics stating NPR and they never get moved to NFR or where ever they really belong....just something to ponder..............No offense meant to any other posters or boards.....just grabbed a random one.....
