Oh Ick...Ewwww.....how can I clean the straps on the swing?
DS pooped out his diaper while in the swing....
the cushion is in the wash now....
how do I clean the straps?????

Fill a spray bottle with 80% water and 20% bleach or your favorite cleaner.

I put icky straps in Oxyclean - they come out so clean with no work.

you just soak them and that's it? No rinsing?

I had to do this once too and I did rinse mine. They came out squeaky clean. I soaked them in a bowl, then rinsed.

Maybe you're not supposed to do this but I usually just dumped the straps in the washer with the rest of the seat. But I usually would use diluted bleach first to rinse everything before putting it in the washer (only because it skeeves me out that there would be poop in there, but I'm sure it's ok b/c it will be rinsed well).
