With all the hype surrounding this new/last book, I am so intrigued and want to start reading it. I've never even seen a movie ...

Why not? They're very quick reads...and entertaining. Definitely better than the movies (imo)...I can't get past the forced acting of the young cast.

I'm thinking of getting the boxed set for my son(s) for Christmas. I know my little one is way too young, but I think my older one will just love them in a few years.

I didn't start reading them until the 15-hour flight for our HM!!

I should have reread the last book because I'm kind of lost right now in the 7th.

Definately read them. All together in a row would be great!!! The first 3 are short, last 4 not so short, but they are really good.

Not too late- I have seen all of the movies, so I have started with the 6th book and will read the 7th. I might also back track to the others, since I know they are better than the movies . . . .

I plan on starting to read them. Not sure if I'm starting with 1 or 6. But, I've seen all of the movies. Love them.
