Gift help/suggestions???
I need help with a gift for my friend's daughter's first birthday...any suggestions? What's popular gift for a 1 year old? Is money appropriate? How much would you give?

I gave our 1 yr old cousin (1.5 at the time) a Cabbage Patch doll for Xmas and she LOOOOVES it. I am told that she still carts it around with her everywhere.

I give "standard" gifts...for a one year-old, we give a $100 savings bond and a train year (the Precious Moments birthday train set)
