Bringing DS into public ladies rooms
At what age is it not OK for boys to go into public ladies rooms with their Moms? I still bring my DS into the ladies room because I'm afraid of something happening to him with strangers in the mens room... but I don't want to make other women uncomfortable.

It also depends on the age/maturity level.
Personally since we have closed stalls, anything under 10 is ok with me.

Re: Bringing DS into public ladies rooms
My nephew is 10 1/2 and still comes into the ladies room to wait for his mom. In todays world, I think most people understand why he is in there and not waiting outside alone.
He does go to the mens room to do his business though.

Re: Bringing DS into public ladies rooms
Glad to hear some people think as high as 10. My son is only 3, I couldn't imagine him having to go into a men's room without me!

I couldn't imagine being uncomfortable with a boy of any age. He's not in the stall with me - I don't care if he's in the restroom.

Re: Bringing DS into public ladies rooms
I think 10 is likely a good age to stop going in the women's room and have them wait outside/go to the mens' room alone. My daughter is 6, pretend she's a boy and there's no way I'd have her waiting outside for me right now.
