Yes - at Mill River Park.
Thanks! thats right off of Sunrise right? Im assuming it'll start at around 9pm when it gets dark out...so we'll head over around 7:30ish.

Mill River Park is just south of Sunrise. The concert starts at 7:45 and fireworks at 9:15. We went last year and parking was a b*tch - we actually wound up paying these people $20 to park in their driveway just for the fireworks show LOL (we went late). Bring blankets, chairs, picnic stuff, whatever. We're probably going and then maybe out in town.

We're going!!  We're walking from my parents house, they live in East Rockaway, but right on the border to RVC, so its a 20 minute walk. The fireworks are scheduled to start at 9:15.

Good idea walking there - I'm still not sure what we're going to do - maybe cab it or, if I'm really feeling inspired, ride our bikes. Little bit too far to walk since we're on the other side of town.

Thanks for the info! Whats the nearest cross street? Im not too familiar with RVC and I'm gonna be coming from East Meadow. TIA!

Those who went... I knew the finale never went off when they turned the lights on! How funny was that? The finale went on after they put the lights on... We had awesome seats on the lawn and the best thing we did is walk there. Parking was nuts!

Yeah that was funny about the finale...I knew that couldn't have been the end LOL. We sat on the lawn too with chairs and stuff to the left of the stage over by the ice cream truck. It was fun!
