Need a quick answer!
DH and i have a wedding to go to in a few hours - it's for a friend from H.S - we used to be really close, but not as much so in recent years.
When we got married she canceled for her FH the day before the wedding - showed up and never gave us a gift. I'm more of a forgive and forget person and I know it's not all about the gifts, but DH doesn't want to even give her anything.
I was thinking $100.....
Thoughts?
Thanks!!!!

$100 sounds OK to me. It's something, not not overly generous, since she pulled that for your wedding!

I think that sounds generous, considering she didn't give you anything and she cost you for the last minute cancellation of her FH.

I agree. I don't care about "give what you would normally give" "never expect a gift" crap. She cancelled on you last minute and then was rude enough to show up without a gift. Unless her FH was in the hospital, which I doubt he was. I think $100 is more than fair.

i think $100 is fair. however, if it were me, i wouldnt give her anything but a card saying "congratulations". its already more than she gave you for your wedding.
i forgive, but i dont forget.

Her FH "forgot" that he had a surprise 30th birthday party for a friend the day of our wedding
Thanks for all the replies - looks like I'll go with the $100 - even though it's going to kill me to even write out that check.
Think we can get away with $50?
