In the UK drivers are really curteous and when you indicate to move over, 90% of the time they will flash you to move in. Not so much on Long Island I have noticed!!!

One car..unless it's one of those people who use the turning lane as a merging lane when they could wait for the traffic to be clear. Those people piss me off!

depends on the road conditions that day. If it is safe to slow down a bit and let somebody in , I will. Sometimes you have somebody behind you riding a bit to close and then I just continue at my pace so that they don't hit me from behind.

depends on if they have rode the shoulder as far to the end of the merging lane to cut off as many ppl as possible...then no i dont let them in....i know i know road rage oh well

I always let one car in...if traffic is really bad or there is a whole lane of traffic trying to merge I will let more than one car in.

i try to at least let one car in and stay at a decent speed. i always think that if everyone let just one car in when there's a major merge, without really speeding up or slowing down, and the people trying to merge didn't crawl in front of you when you're trying to be nice and let them go in the first place, there would be a lot less traffic and the world would be a happier place. lol
