eBay sellers - I have a question about a return
I sold a purse last week and the buyer wants to return it b/c she claims it is too large for her. I CLEARLY state the dimensions of everything I sell! I am not QVC or HSN, and I do not want to accept the return also, what if i get it back and it's not in the same condition as when I shipped it to her?
the buyer has not rated me yet. naturally I do NOT want neg feedback. also, what and about the PP & eBay fees? who is responsible for that?
please help me draft her a response that is diplomatic. Thank you!

Re: eBay sellers - I have a question about a return
Since you clearly stated the dimensions, you can do one of 2 things:
1) Tell her you don't take returns. Period. Of course you risk getting neg feedback but you always have the opportunity to dispute the feedback with ebay to have it removed considering you were clear. Or you can give a reply below her (possible) negative feedback so that future sellers know you were clear.
or
2) Accept the return but she gets a refund less the total cost to you (ebay/paypal fees and all shipping costs) and when you receive the bag back and it's in perfect condition, you refund her the amount. Let her know the amount she will be getting back beforehand and if she gives you a hard time about absorbing the costs, then don't accept it as a return.
If it's a bag that you can easily relist, I'd accept the return if I were in your situation. I don't like to make a habit of it but I've accepted a return or 2 since I've been ebaying as long as the person isnt a demanding jerk. Better for the ebay rep.

I think I will try option #2 and see what she says.
