Am I the only one???
Am I the only one who is not happy summer is here??
I HATE the summer. I long for the cool, windy days of fall and the cozy, cold nights of winter.
I honestly cant wait until the summer is OVER!

My co worker hates the summer and is thrilled when she has to wear a coat.
I hate the cold and could live in a 75 degree climate year round.

I don't DO shorts.
My legs are too awful for skirts.
Arms are meant to be covered.
I hate sweating.
I hate being the whitest person in a room because I hate the sun and wear SPF30 daily.
I hate being itchy ALL DAY LONG.

I like summer but I like summer to be the temperature that I want it.
Not hot, oppressive heat.
Warm with a cool breeze.
Oh & lots of deoderant for the men on the trains.

WOW!!!! Are you me????? These are all of the reasons I hate the summer too!!!!!!!
I LOVE my sweatshirts and jeans and boots. I am happiest when I am home in my comfy pjs and big socks under my big blanket. PLUS I like my winter time shows on tv. I know..I am a downer.

you are NOT alone. i hate the heat---can't stand it. i'm weird like that. in the summertime i immediately put my car a/c up as high as possible.
on those hot summer days when everyone is at the beach "enjoying the sun" i'm usually looking for air-conditioned venues to stay in. (mainly movie theatres cause i'm a film buff)
 i'm just not a fan of hot!

I like the IDEA of summer more than I actually like summer.
I mean - carefree, lazy days - looong sunsets on the backporch with a pitcher of lemonade, barbecues and fireworks, Picnics and bike riding...
I like that the morning commute isn't halted by 15 million big yellow buses. I like the sound of kids playing. I like watching my boys catch fireflies.
But some of the practicalities of summer - mosquitos, gnats, ridiculous heat - so thick it comes off the street in visible WAVES... THAT I do not like at ALL!

I do nto like summer either. It is too buggy , and hot! My hair frizzes, and there is the constant hum of the air conditoner. Give me a cool day and I am very happy!

I hate the very high humidity, but I love a lot about summer.
I AM thrilled it's summer this year, though, because I am getting married this summer in August!
