SONIC-Why isnt there one in NY??
I cant stand watching the commercials and wanting to run and get a Sonic slush but I CANT! 
Now I have had Sonic in VA and its delicious!
Driving 5 hrs for a slush.....no can do.

I always want to go to sonic when I see a commercial - the closest one to me is like an hour and a half away though!

We actually looked into opening a Sonic franchise here but according to Sonic corporate headquarters, they are not interested in expanding to the NY metro area and have no plans to do so in the near future :(

I live in NC and have a sonic a few minutes away...honestly don't care for them....DH on the other hand loves their slushes.

i think they show it bc when nyers are traveling in other states, they remember the cmmercials and when they see one, it makes them stop.....
i certainly would if i ever saw a sonic or dairy queen
