Strange timing of a phone call.
I was on my way home from work today and my cell phone rings. I do not recognize the number and I do not know what possessed me to answer it. The man on the other end says hello and I didnt know who he was.
So I asked who he was and he said "Dad."
Now my father is deceased and I said "No, I am sorry you have the wrong number. Who are you looking for?"
He says "Annie."
Under normal circumstances, I would write this off as a coincidence, but this weekend marks the second anniversary of his passing as well as Father's Day on the exact same day (according to the Hebrew Calendar which we follow for remembrance). That and Annie is my sister's name.
I know who I am - not terribly religious or super spiritual, but when things like this happen, I want so much to believe that his spirit lives on and comes out at special times.

I definitely believe that the people we care about most are always with us.
I feel my grandparents and my good friend are always with me too-- and I love this quote:
"Or I may be a single drop of rain, but I will remain- I'll be back again and again"
I'm glad that happened to you- although bittersweet, it's really nice to know he's with you.

I just got chills reading this. I do believe it was your Dad letting you know he's always there for you. Sometimes these "signs" are just too obvious to ignore.
