Paris Hilton Transferred Out of Medical Ward
Paris Hilton was transferred out of the medical ward at L.A.'s Twin Towers Correctional Facility Wednesday night.
The heiress, 26, was returned to the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood, Calif., around 11 p.m., Lt. Daryl Meeks tells the Associated Press.
The facility is the same place Hilton began her sentence on June 3.
Meeks would not elaborate on where she is being housed, but during her initial stay she was confined to a 12-by-8-foot cell in the so-called "high power" pod, reserved for high-profile inmates and those who need extra protection.
Thursday marks the beginning of the twelfth day of Hilton's 45-day sentence for violating probation, although she is expected to serve just 23 days because of a policy that offers credits for good behavior.
Hilton became the center of a storm of controversy after she was reassigned to house arrest due to an undisclosed medical condition (she was soon ordered back to jail and sent to the Twin Towers' medical unit).
Although Sheriff Lee Baca told reporters Hilton was sufferering "various psychological and psychiatric issues," their exact nature was not specified. But a source tells PEOPLE Hilton suffers had attention deficit disorder, and a Hilton family friend says Hilton experienced claustrophobia in her jail cell, adding that during Hilton's 74 hours in county lockup, "She practically had a nervous breakdown."
But her stay in Twin Towers was not without its own minor scandals: Both her parents and her sister Nicky were accused of line-jumping when they visited her this week.

They cut the line of other visitors waiting waiting to see their family in jail.

On Extra or Access Hollywood they said that Nicky & her parents got escorted right in to see Paris, visitors to other inmates have to wait 4+ hours to get in. Apparantly on the day her parents visited it was worse, they let them in through a different door at lunchtime, when usually they don't allow visitors at lunchtime.
