WR - Bachelorette Party

How much do you think is reasonable for each bridemaid to chip in for a bachelorette party (for limo, etc.)?

Or, what is the most money you feel each bridesmaid should chip in for the party?

This would be for a bachelorette party that wasn't overnight or away.

$300 maybe?

It really depends on what they are doing, and how much the dresses etc where

Did you pay for the shower as well?

Dress is going to be about $300 with alterations (NOT including shoes, hair, etc.)

We each chipped in about $200 for the shower.

I guess I am looking for what you would think would be fair to then spend on the bach. party considering those amounts previously spent.

Given that info, I'd say $100-200.

Re: WR - Bachelorette Party

It is hard for me to say, because I just went to my sister's bachelorette and it cost everyone about $150 for dinner & drinks in the city. We didn't rent a limo and didn't do anything crazy. We didn't have to pay cover anywhere or go to a 'show' (Hunkamania or something). But it easily could have cost another $100 depending on where you go and how much you drink. Some of us stayed over and that was extra.

I think 100-200 is reasonable

If you didn't pay for the shower I would would be ok with spending a little more

Re: WR - Bachelorette Party

Thanks for everyone's responses! It looks like the bachelorette party is now going to cost everyone over $300, which I feel is a lot considering the other costs Chat Icon

I debated about talking to the MOH about reducing the cost, but I don't
But, after thinking about it, I am just going to go along with it and not say anything. The $100 isn't worth the problems

Re: WR - Bachelorette Party

IMO I think that's a little bit on the $$$$ side.

After a $200 shower I'd say a $100-$200 btch. pty is fair. $300+ is getting a little crazy.

Personally i think that the bachelorette party is optional! that seems like an awful lot of money if it is just one night out.

totally depends. I planned a bach party that cost $150/pp and was an overnight. Girls with full time jobs and no expenses (live with parents) complained. everything is relative.
