I was p-od yesterday when i found out that she was in jail for 3 day's and wasn't going to do the full 45 day's, I was like why does she get special Treatment and get out early....But now that i heard on the radio that she is doing the Full 45 day's in jail i am   She got what she deserved.

eta: i'm not trying to be rude or anything to the OP  ...i'm just sick of this being news. there's a war going on and all you see on tv is paris hilton! its on E!, all the major tv stations, for God's sake its on ESPN!

 well that's because it is a VERY RARE occurrence when a celeb actually pays for their crime with jail time.

I am so happy to hear that because that was totally BS when they let her out.
Rumor has it that she was planning to have a big party over the next few days and people were advising her against it. I wonder if that had anything to do with the judge's fury - although the fact that she was let out to go home is enough to fuel his fury! And everyone else's! poor poor paris.....

I have to be honest, i disagree w/all the "happy she's going to jail" posts....
I understand that all the applaud is because perhaps she's finally going to get a taste of "real life"
but I still feel kinda bad for her, this could have happened to anyone,
and I think the punishment is a bit extreme for the crime.
And yes-I do understand that she put other lives in danger by drinking&driving,
but like I said, I think that this couldve happened to anyone,, people make stupid mistakes...
I just dont get people being so happy about this!

well I for one AM happy about it. why? because she thinks she is above the law, like most celebs who commit crimes do. I assure you that if a regular non celeb was caught DWI then put on probation b/c of it and violated the probation 2x without fulfilling a single one of the mandatory requirements, they would go to jail too. and I bet for longer than 45 days.
ETA: and someone earlier potsed that she tried to convince the judge to have a conference call today so she wouldn't have to show up in court  she is a piece of CRAP!

I do understand what you are saying but she has handled this situation sooo poorly. Crying and carrying on, please!!! House arrest after a couple of days; give me a break!!!!!!
Take Martha Stewart for example. Many thought her punishment was extreme but she handled her punishment and sentence with dignity.
I am far from a Martha Stewart fan, but maybe Paris should look to someone like that as an example. Martha came out of prison better than ever. I feel if Paris would have taken her punishment, done her time with her mouth shut, and exited with grace, she might, just might, have gained some respect from people for once!!!

Isn't it obvious what her "medical" issue is? I have no doubt she is having withdrawl from drugs (probably cocaine)hence the push to get her home to serve her sentence where she can get her hands on drugs.

I am not "happy" that she goes to jail.
She just deserves to go to jail. She has had multiple violations which "regular' people who have had a much tougher and longer sentence. So, no, I don't thing her punishment is even close to extreme. She got off VERY easily with just 45 days and having to serve only 23. Regular Joe, with several drinking issues and violation would probably be in jail for 6 months to 1 year, big fine and revoked driving license.

I think they are trying to make an example of her.
I think in general the penalty for drunk driving should be more harsh than it is.
She just happens to be in the limelight where everyone can see her.

When I was at the gym the news reporter was saying she had been planning a party tonight 
Stupid biotch doesn't even understand house arrest.
Hopefully she actually learns that DUI can get you into some serious trouble - that not even pretend breakdowns can get you out of

I 100% agree- I don't even like her- but I could never find pleasure in seeing anyone so upset- and personally I don't think she deserves jail for this- community service and no Lic- not jail
