Book Expo-XP

I went to the Book Expo today, it was great. It was at Jacob Javits Center. Any librarians, educators, publishing industry people or booksellers? MrsMcK, have you ever gone to one? I got a lot of free books and posters and pens and candy and other stuff for my library. It was fun.

My SIL is there. She works for a publishing company. She told me that I should come tomorrow, but DH has to work and my DS would have to go with me nad I think he is too young (5 weeks) to be around that many people.

Yeah he is too young. Maybe when he gets a little older you guys should go. There are childrens books given out.

I went yesterday and just got a day pass for the exhibits, not the lectures. I didn't get a whole bunch of stuff for my library as some of my co-workers went "officially" for the library. It was my day off, so I just got stuff I was interested in.

I agree that navigating would've been difficult with a 5-week old infant. The place was packed, and not everyone looks where they're going.
