Have you tried Lilette's Bridal in Baldwin?
I'm surprised you couldn't find anything at Barron's, that's where I got mine.

Barron usually has the best selection. I think I went with a group of 4 ladies and only 1 left w/o a headpiece. There is also a great place in the city, it's close to the LIRR too. I have to ask my friend for the name because I have not been there in 2 years, lol.

I did tiny ceramic roses in my hair & then lined my veil with them in the back. This is who made them: Nelson D'Leon
He does have combs on the website.

idk...barrons usually has the best selection...actually another 06 bride used a broache in her hair and it looked really pretty, maybe something like that would work too!

It may be far for you, but there is a store called Fantasyland in Patchogue. It's exit 66 off of the LIE. The address is 10 Robinson Ave, East Patchogue, NY 11772. That is where I bought my veil and the comb I wore in my hair. They had a huge selection and my comb was only about $70. I loved it and thought it was worth the trip. FM me if you want directions or more info.

Oh my goodness, did it really close? What a shame, that was a great place for wedding stuff.
I would definitely try ebay then. They should have a ton of combs etc.

I dont want to wear a tiara. I want to wear a hair comb. Someone suggested Thomas Knoell...hes so $$$$ but im going to go there anyway, because I went to wedding center in commack and found something (and bought it, only $50) but now that Im home I dont like it as much

I recommended TK and yes he is expensive, I was warned of that too, before I went. But once I was there I found he had exactly what I was looking for and the quality I wanted for my wedding. Since I got a larger comb and stick pins I have been able to wear them again too.

Have you tried Tri County Flea Market? I think I got mine there, but it is a headpiece. I sort of remember her having combs also.
