i like kelly, i think she looks healthy. we pick on the celebs who look too thin and then we pick on them when they look like they've put on a few pounds. shes not ginormous or anything. i like the fact that teenagers have a "real" body to look up to.

First of all, I think she looked adorable on the finale. Great curves!!! She is heaviER than she was but by no means heavy.
Secondly, it goes to show you how pictures are distorted. If you watched the show, she did not appear as heavy as these pictures show you.
Finally, calling someone of her weight "fat" is the reason why women, particularly young ones, have screwed up body images and unrealistic expectations of what women should look like.

Wow...I hope you never put on a couple of pounds and have someone say something like this about you...
As for my opinion - I didn't like her choices for the 1st outfit. Those boots were not flattering. However, her 2nd outfit was quite cute and she is accentuating what works on her - her butt and and her shapely waist.

I didn't like the boots in the first outfit, but I thought she looked really cute in the second one.
I think she looks great. When we were watching AI, even DH commented on how she gained weight - in a good way.

Kelly is NOT fat! she's just heavier on the bottom and the outfits she wore in these pics do nothing to accentuate that - in fact, just the opposite. That’s what my remarks meant

Wow! That's all I can mutter after reading this! My jaw is on the floor. I think she looks great. I wish for the day that I can wear either outfit. Granted I am not feeling the 2nd shirt but heck I'd rock if I was her size!

This is the most harshest/rudest comment I have seen in a while on the boards.
Kelly IMO is gorgeous. Great voice and she looks good. Granted I am not crazy about the 1st outfit, but I think she looks good in the second.
I wonder what you think of us or others that are on the heavy side?

I think she looks GREAT in the first picture! The second picture just seems off to me. There is something wrong with the angle of her hips or something, because her stomach just looks off. Does anyone else see what I am talking about?
ETA I like the outfit, just commenting on the picture.

A) I am not anti-heavy people. My bff is heavy. So don't make accusations about me that don't hold up.
B) I pushed her out of the way by accident. We were in a mob of people and she just stopped in the middle. I ended up pushing her out of the way.

I think it is ok to be curvy. But she needs to dress to cover the flaws and accentuate the positives. She is NOT doing that. If you have thick thighs, you shouldn't wear thigh high boots. She is super curvy, and actually is representative of most young American women. I give her kudos for the thigh high boots and a little exposure.
I thought the thigh highs were dumb mostly because I don't like the look. Actually I think the 2nd look is accentuating her positives-he waist is tiny-her arms are toned. I think she looks GREAT in the 2nd pic.

Also if you think Monique is curvy and KC is fat you need glasses or something...Monique looks like shes about to keel over-she can hardly speak because she is all out of breath
