Can you fly with knitting needles?
We are going to the Bahamas on Thurs and I was wondering if I can bring my knitting needles on the plane as carry-on. Any ideas?

Re: Can you fly with knitting needles?
yes you can. I have never been questioned at security, but I do notice that the flight attendents come and talk to me about the knitting. I think it's more of a way to assess you than interest.
there is a regulation about scissors - so I would look on the tsa page for that

Re: Can you fly with knitting needles?
definitely! I had no problem bringing two pairs on with me when we flew to LA in February.
I used a nail clipper instead of scissors.
