have patience with me..(peds neurologist related)
cause i know that this has been done..
PLEASE recommend a pediatric neurologist.. i already know the ones at stonybrook but if you had a really great experience with them let me know.. Also, we know Dr. Mittler but we are not looking for a neuro surgeon. tia!

We have been seeing Dr Atluru - she is affiliated with Winthrop through so it might be too far for you. She is the head of ped neurology there and is the sweetest, most thorough doctor. Plus she makes me very calm about everything.

Dr. Greg Rosen. He is associated with Winthrop and his office is in Plainview.

I have heard great things about Dr Atleru (sp?) too. I havent gone personally but know someone who has and recommends her.

My son was also seen by Dr. Atluru and we are seeing her again on Friday. My aunt has brought her kids to her as well. So has my brother and his son. Good luck!

I absolutely love Dr. Egnor (you said you were already aware of the Stony Brook MDs, but I just wanted to post my great exprience with him...he's very kind and he took his time with us, answered all of our questions, and we didn't feel rushed...highly recommend him).
We also saw Mittler, but you said you didn't need a neurosurgeon...actually, now that I think of it...Egnor is a neurosurgeon.

Dr. Rami Grossman. His website is www.childbrain.com He has 2 offices, one in Nassau and in Queens. He is my sons neurologist. We live in Suffolk, and we travel to Dr. Grossman becasue he is great. Good Luck!
