Awwww. I love my grandma-in-law
My mom invited DH's grandma and aunts to the baby shower. His grandma and one of his aunts live in Tampa. Today, I got a gift from this same aunt and I was on the phone with my mom at the time and she said "Oh well, I can tell you now"
Grandma called my mom and said that she and Regina (DH's aunt) had planned on flying up from Florida for the shower, but Grandpa is not well and that is why she waited so long to RSVP.
I think it is so sweet that they would even ENTERTAIN the idea of coming up! My MIL (also in FLA) wouldn't ever (same side of the family) consider it. I lost my grandma two years ago, and since then, DH's has taken a special place in my heart.
AND I just found out my best friend is preggo after a m/c in February AND her twin sister is too...and due the same day! Freaky!!
