does anyone remember who posted the sono of..UPDATE W/PICS & QUESTION at bottom
their baby girl, from the bottom up, joking about how she's going to have to have a talk w/her when she gets older, because the baby's legs was spread? I'm trying to remember who it was b/c I have a similar picture of my *possible* baby boy, and I want to compare the two! TIA!!

the bigger "things" are the legs and that little bun looking thing is the girly parts.
We were told to look for 3 lines (or a bun) for a girl or a turtlehead for a boy. I can go find my girl sono if you like

thank you!! this is SO cool and so cute!!! DH wants to be surprised and i agreed but you know i'm going to be obsessing over sono pics to see what i can figure out by myself and keep it to myself  The sono tech won't take a pic from this angle unless we ask though, right?

Im going to say that is a boy as well. But you are early on so, im sure doc told you that as you get further along, he will confirm again and usually at your 20wk appt.
Boys tend to be the sex that is seen sooner than girls.
At my 13wk sono, tech told me nothing and she knew I wanted to know. There wasnt much to see at that time.

as Btrflygrl says above and we're looking for a head - that def looks like a head to me!   these poor kids are going to be so embarassed to know we're all studying their privates its amazing - i am SOO intrigued by this -

I agree, its hard to distinguish. Even the Dr. said that unless the girls tissue is swollen, its probably a boy. I'll find out for sure at the level II. I'll just have to stay in love with "it" instead of "him" for now, just in case!

I agree...I would wait to be sure what the sex is until 20 weeks...my tech told us that she was 75% sure that it was a certain sex but wouldn't tell us...she said that it'd be unprofessional of her to make that assumption at 12 weeks...tooo early.

I will say
The Perinatalogist, at my ultrascreen, told me that he was pretty sure that I was having a boy..He knew before I asked and then went on to show me "the boy parts"..I was 12 weeks..
I then had another sono at about the same time as you (you and I are due at about the same time)...the tech knew before I asked..She then proceeded to show me the boy parts...and being that our sonos where at about the same gestational age I would say they are very simuliar if not exactly the same...
My husband and I have 5 girls between us SOOOOO I think whoever is doing a sono for me checks out the "WHO-HA" b4 anything else....
Oh and the tech who did mine said
" this baby is definitely a boy!!"
