Name some irrational things you've done during PG

I can definately tell that I'm more hormonal lately. Friday was a horrible day for me and I was looking for something to calm my nerves before I started killing people. So, I baked a chocolate cake.

I put a pink bunny on the cake (inside joke with DH) and he jokingly said 'But where's the Green bunny? It is St. Patty's Day'. So, I made a drunk, green bunny with bloodshot eyes. Then I decorated the green bunny to throw up on the pink bunny. That'll teach DH to ask questions.

My great sleeper since 4 weeks old

All of sudden- beginning the end of Feb has begun to wake up screaming in pain every night, 2-3 times a night, so i haven't slept since Feb.

Does wanting to drop DD off with DH at work and go away for a couple days alone to get some sleep count as being irrational? A preggo needs to sleep while she can!

I am NEVER irrational.

Hmmmm.... I spent one weekend filling up a bookcase with toys and the next frantically emptying it. I did the same with the closet. This weekend I went nuts over a dresser...it is "in" but we're waiting for the weekend to move it into our house. and the wait is still annoying me.

The only irrational thing I've done usually involved hysterical crying to no reason.

I am not PG at the moment(had a m/c) but my Dh and I came home from a night out and started talking about something(not sad at all) and i started hysterical crying and then said through my tears what am I pregnant? I tested the next AM and got a positive.

We re-did our kitchen when I was PG with DS#1, and for some unkown reason (I like to call it pregnancy-insanity) I chose a STARK WHITE floor.



*** was I thinking? Now its been 4 years, my floor looks like cr*p, my 2 boys have dropped every conceivable color combination of food, paint, crayons, poop, you name it, and my floor is now grey.

So thats my most irrational pregnant thing

I can't say I've done anything irrational BUT I do cry at the drop of a hat, and even sometimes laugh like a mad woman.

hummm... most of my things involve yelling at DH....I yelled at him for throwing the mousie for the cat (the cat plays fetch and brings it back to you) and the back and forth was driving me nuts while I was trying to watch tv...


I did spend a good 2 hours crocheting only to pull it all out because i wasn't 100% happy w/the way it was turning out...


thats all i can think of for now, but i'm sure Ive had many other moments!

I threw a fit thinking I can't sleep at night because it was a Queen and we must get a King- we went looking and one day 8k later got a new bedroom set. Now the old perfectly fine set with a expensive Queen mattress is in the garage.

I feel a bit guilty, I like the new set but am not sleeping any better and DH jsut gave in to my insanity
