for Andrews invites?

I am getting very frustrated with this whole process. They only way my invite I made prints out nice is if I do it on photocards. The cards are like the christmas card type single card.

Or I will just end up scratching my idea all together and get them made on ebay.

Please be honest. I can take itChat Icon

Re: Do you think it would be cheesey to use photocards...

why would you NOT do it on a photo card?

Ive been doing that for several birthdays.
I told you you can edit the photo and add words to the photo with the info.
so many online places do free prints.

whats so cheesy about it? I think its much nicer than any other type of card/invite. everyone loves to get photos! Chat Icon

Re: Do you think it would be cheesey to use photocards...

I don't think it's cheesey, I did thank you cards twice with photocards from shutterfly, and my birth announcement for Gianna.

People love them! My family and friends still have the announcement and my thank you's on their fridge's from DD's christening and my 30th b day party(all the pics were of DD and me)

ETA: And i am doing it again for the thank you's for her 1st birthday!

I was going to just add the pic of the front of the invite I made and then put the location, etc on the text sideChat Icon

I used 5x7 photocards that DH designed in Photoshop. I printed them at Winkflash. I think photocards are fine.

It's fine to use those! But you can also try Vistaprint to get a different type of card/invite. It will be a little more expensive than the photo cards though.

I am trying to use the pic below as the cover of the invite. But I keep trying to have it printed out by shutterfly, winkflash, kodak, etc and it keeps coming out blurry.

I have updated it since but this is the design of it

Where are the photos from? Is that the raw file or did you scan them? If they're not clear, it's more than likely a resolution problem.

I think a photocard is fine (just received one for a communion today). The only issue is there isn't much room to write on them.

I think it is a resolution problem. I am going to try something else tonight and if that doesn't work then I will move onChat Icon It's really not worth it anymore. It's just an invitationChat Icon

DId you try to upload the file onto vistaprint..

It comes out on real nice card stock- and Ive never had an issue with blurriness....

I highly rec'd them- and dont 4get to google coupon codes if you use them- you save so much $$

I just tried it from the one you posted - it came out blurry. but maybe if you do it with the original it will work

I am trying to see if I can get it to work without being blurry

Thanks for trying. I really appreciate it. That one is one I saved from an email not the original.

The one's I did for Luka was an actually picture with the wording on it, it was 4x6. I don't think people realized the size. Don't drive yourself crazy. They will come out great no matter what.
