The gorgeous blanket from my stepdaughters - opinions?
People have commented on this blanket - it truly is magnificent!
I am thinking - instead of actually using it and getting it full of puke and baby gunk, that maybe I shuld hang it on the wall? The nursery is mint green, but it wouldnt match our bedding - think that it matters? It is just so gorgeous, I would love to do something with it....
Also - how does one hang up a blanket???

I think that is a great idea....and I think it would go perfectly...
You could sew dowls at the top and bottom and hang it like a tapestry..
My eldest had a wall hanging like this when she was an infant...

I agree, I wouldnt hang it either. It is to beautiful. They sell quilt clips at BRU and as far it not matching the bedding. I dont think it is such a big deal but I wouldn't hang it say over the crib.

That is beautiful! They have quilt racks for that that go on the wall.

That's a good question. My nieces actually used the same material to make a blanket for the baby, too!  I'm not sure what to do either. They may be hurt if I don't actually use it and just hang it up... Would your Stepdaughters mind?

I would totally hang it up.....search Ebay for quilt clips. They hang on the wall and then the clip holds the quilt therefore not making any holes in it.
We are doing the same in DD big girl room with a quilt a friends' mother made for her

I agree, I'd hang it. My parents actually had my Bambi rug that they hung on my wall....

Which we had cleaned & will be hanging in our peanut's room
