I'm kind of jealous- interesting update
So we took Luca to our local St. Patties parade today and had a really nice day. We went to a bar/restaurant to eat and have a couple of drinks and hang out. We were having a good time with friends, but then guess who had to come home and feed the baby dinner and get him to bed. Yup, me! DH got to stay and hang out with our friends while I'm stuck at home.
ets- Like it wasn't bad enough that I was home alone... apparently my tenant and his girlfriend got into a HUGE fight. So she told him she was going to the house to get all of her stuff. So he calls me and tells me, don't let her in. Mind you, they are both my friends, we all went to high school together. So she comes to the house and I tell her, I can't let you into his apartment but you can come upstairs and wait for him. So after calling him for 2 hours he finally calls her back. I was in the bathroom at the time and I come out and she says, he said I can go get my stuff, come downstairs with me so you can tell him I didn't take anything that wasn't mine. So we go downstairs and he calls me and is like, don't let her in my apartment. I told him it was too late, she told me she could get her stuff and she's getting it right now. Well, it turns out she lied to me. So now he's kind of ****** at me- which quite frankly he has no right to be as far as I'm concerned. He put me in a really bad spot to begin with, I never should have been put in the middle. So my nice day is now down the tubes.

I hear ya,, my dh is at a bachelor party and I couldn't find a sitter so i am home too..

 mine went skiing 3 times this month. He offers to stay home with the baby, but I don't do that either. I am jealous of how he is capable of leaving for the day.

I'm telling you, take him up on the offer and take a break. I love Luca more than life itself, and you know what, I love him even a little more when I get a little "me" time.

I totally understand. we were a bit of the party couple before DD came and it was such an adjustment. I love my daughter and would not change a thing, but there are those times when we are hanging out having fun, but it is always me who takes care of DD when the time comes while DH does his thing. If only he would help out some more. It is worth it though and I still have fun, just but in a more responsible way, which I guess is a good thing.

I hear ya. I feel the same way. It's not that my DH doesn't want to do anything. He's just not mister mom material. He helps out in other ways but just not in the major things.

That's just it, she doesn't live here. She stays over on the weekends and all of her makeup, clothes, medicine, etc... was downstairs.

I think we have all been there. In the beginning DH went out every Sat. night and I was home alone. Then we had a babysitter for while, no we don't have a babysitter and DH goes out and leaves me at home You just have to alternate if you can't both go out. Make sure you get a chance.
