My son does not seem to ever want to...
Drink his milk. He is 10 months old now. He only wants an ounce or 2 and that's it. I've even spaced out the feedings more and he still doesn't seem interested. I thought it was teething at first but it can't be cuz he just got a new tooth. Don't know what else it is. He does eat his solids. My concern is that he is not getting enough milk...

Re: My son does not seem to ever want to...
DD is 9.5 months and usually only takes about 2oz - then off to play some more! On some rare occasions, she'll finish the bottle. She's been like this since she was 3-4 months, maybe?
What we do is feed her while she's asleep. Yes, that's right. She drinks her milk asleep!!! She takes enough naps during the day that it was an okay setup for us.
Now that we are on solids, she doens't eat that asleep. However, she's a very bad eater. She only takes a few bites here and there sometimes. Half the time she doens't even finish her meal. We're lucky if she takes half a jar of Stage 2 food. But, I'm going off in tangent............

Have you introduced a sippy cup? maybe he would like that better. DD faded out her bottles. She wanted everything out of a sippy cup. She started weaning herself at 11 months.

I too was thinking of introducing the sippy cup. But he'll just play with it...

Well it's definitely worth a shot trying the sippy cup. Could it possibly be that he simply just doesn't like the taste of it since that's all he drinks?

Re: My son does not seem to ever want to...
It is probably becasue he is distracted since he has realized that there are a lot more fun things to do now besides wasting time drinking a bottle. I remember Jack did that at that age. He was walking at 9 months so the thought of sitting and drinking a bottle for more than 5 minutes was a thing of the past!

Mine does the same thing but at 9 months he is not walking. He's just distracted period!!! And the 1 1/2 -2 ounces that he does have, he drinks soooooooooooooooooooo slowly. I know he's bored because he plays with the bottle nipple...
