OOPS!!!!
DH was drinking a nice tall glass of OJ this evening... He rarely drinks OJ, but he bought this really nice organic one, so I figured he was digging it... and I'm obsessed with OJ right now...
so, he finishes most of it up, and I notice there was a little left in the glass, and decided to take the swig before bringing the glass to the sink...
DH hears me say "oooh! Oh NO!!!" from the kitchen, and asks whats wrong....
I'm like, "Was this a screw driver?????" He laughs at me and says yeah, and thats probably where all the vodka was...
So great. I gave my baby a shot of vodka tonight.... some mom I'm turning out to be!!!

Awwww, don't feel too bad, all of her/his appendages are formed already, they will just sleep well tonight

Liza that reminds me of a time when we went out to eat with some friends and their young children at an Italian buffet. At dessert time, I was eating a piece of chocolate cake and spit it out because it was soaked with rum. I look across the table and my friends 3 year old was almost done with his piece. Now this cake wasnt cooked with the rum, it was being used as a sponge so the alcohol was at full potency. Needless to say, this young man slept all night. Today, at 5 years old he is just fine
Maybe tonight, the kid will give you a little reprieve from activity. I am sure s/he is fine!

Actually - the kid is more active than ever - probably takes after mommy when she is drunk - I am all over the place, bumping into things - a total klutz... this baby is knocking all over the place - probably reeling drunk as we speak...

I wouldn't worry. By the time any alcohol was processed through your body, probably nothing reached the baby. Now, if you were drinking screwdrivers every DAY, you may have an issue!

Oh geez. As soon as I started reading this I said 'oh no!' I'm sure the baby is fine. Supposedly, a few drinks in the 3rd trimester is fine.

And Im just going to add how I love OJ and on the same kick and i was also told how GIRLS
(old wives tale) make you crave the OJ/citrus.
