So Many Baby Clothes!!!!!

I am sooo glad I didnt buy any clothes for this baby!
I cant even count how many outfits we have received for the baby!
......And everyone keeps giving us more, and I know when she is born, people will bring more outfits!

If I can give everyone one piece of advice, dont go crazy buying clothes if your friends and family are anything like mine..........

I havent even counted b/c I still have things in the boxes and gift bags.
I wish I had some more 6-9 mos stuff, I also wish people thought out what the temp is going to be like for the time they buy the outfit, I got a newborn outfit that she wont be able to wear b/c its summer and she will be born next week.Chat Icon Chat Icon

I was just going to say the same!! I made that boo boo too and have a ton of 0-3 months stuff.

Take the tags off as he/she will wear them, so you can take back things they outgrow.

Newborns grow sooo quick! There's no way they'll wear everything!

Re: So Many Baby Clothes!!!!!

The problem is that alot of stuff is from Target and they have such a horrible exhange policy. When i went to exchange the newborn summer outfit, they told me w/o a receipt or gift receipt, you can exchange 2 things per year, they even make them give your license. I have a friend who is due in August, but she isnt finding out the sex, so hopefully, I will get lucky and it will be a girl. Otherwise, I will be instituting a mandatory costume change at least 3x a day

Target has the most ridiculous return policies ever. They really do! Even with a receipt, it's a big runaround, like you have to buy 1 single item from the same department that the item you're returning is from- i.e. if you return a baby item, you can only get 1 item from the baby department (equal or lesser value) to do the exchange. This is if you want a refund with a receipt!! SO STUPID! Chat Icon

Re: So Many Baby Clothes!!!!!

Its so silly, its not like I want to return something that was being sold there awhile ago, the stuff is still on the shelves.
DH told me they are having a shower for one of the girls he works with, so I asked if we could give her something we just got....but I got a less that nice response to my little jokeChat Icon

I keep telling myself, dont buy clothes! But every time I see something cute, I end up buying it. I'm only 22 and a half weeks and the baby already has about 20 outfits.Chat Icon
