help with BM colors

Hey Folks,
I need some inspiration. I truely hate choosing paint colors because there are so many. Could you folks possibly post pics of your BM colored rooms? This way I can get a better idea. Thanks

Re: help with BM colors

The only color I can help with is the dining room. We have white wainscotting on the bottom and BM Garrison Red on top. I've posted pictures before, if you want to search it out!

just saw it. Now, it looks sorta wine like. I think I'm leaning more towards a traditional red. Thanks so much though.

Tah-wee-ZAH, really seperated at birth now. I love all your colors. I might want 1 shade darker for the bathroom and 1 shade darker for the living room. You are so helpful!

If you go to the store, you can find the swatch... I think I just threw mine out... and go either one up or one down.

ETA: Yeah, I don't have them anymore in my home files.

Too bad we just got rid off most of our extra paint. You could have tried them out

So... Bon Ami, crockpots, paint colors...

What's next?Chat Icon Well, right now I'm hanging a border in the nursery. Don't think your ready for that yet?Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: help with BM colors

go on the potterybarn website or get the catalog....they have the colors that you are looking for listed (all BM paints) and then they show rooms that are painted in the colors.

I've done that, but to be perfectly honest, I find, based on my experience already, they don't always come out the same being the pics are airbrushed and such

Re: help with BM colors

now, I'm just not sure if the louisburg green would be too dark for a bathroom. It's actually a color we've had picked out for a while. I think the tree moss is what I'm liking the most.

You are all helping me so much. Can't wait to show DH this post tonight.

thanks so much, I'm glad you posted that because I don't care for the louisburg green in a bathroom but the tree moss may work for me.

This is so helpful, probably one of the most helpful posts in a while for my needs. I can't thank you all enough!!

Our living room is BM Raspberry Truffle (more pics in album). Our entryway (on the left in the pic) is BM Butte Rock. We love it!
