Sutafed
My doctor said it was safe to take ... did anyone take it while PG? Did anyone take it in the 1st trimenester? I am so torn right now but I am so so so so sick!!!!!!!!!!!

I've had to take Sudafed from time to time. They said it's safe to take as long as you drink lots of water. It's very drying and if you get dehydrated, it's possible to have contractions.

This is what www.safefetus.com says about it:
It's a class C drug. Studies on animals show adverse effect and toxicity on fetus. No adequate and well controlled studies done on pregnant women. Drugs should be given only if the potential benefit outweighs the potential risk to the fetus.

my doc says that I can take plain sudafed only, but honestly lisa i wouldnt ... sudafed is on that list of drugs that are behind the counter now.. i wouldnt bother with it...stick to tylenol
