Should I call the dr? -- UPDATE

Last night around 5Am I woke up freezing cold and shaking uncontrollably like crazy. My legs and my whole body. I even woke up DH from my teeth chattering so loudly. Thing is - I'm not sure it was even that cold in my room and I was moist like I had been sweating. I raised the heat, covered myself in blankets and the shaking stopped and I went back to bed. I feel ok now but I am wondering should I be worried about this - should i call the dr.? I am 13 weeks btw.

Thanks in advance Chat Icon

ETA: That aside from this "incident" I feel totally fine.

UPDATE: Just called the dr,'s office and spoke to the nurse. Wanted to update in case this happens to anyone else in the future. The nurse said not to worry - that it is not uncommon for this to happen she says it is most likely hormonal surges. But, to call if anything else or if it happens again.

Call the doctor for peace of mind.

Did you have a flu shot this season? They aren't full proof but based upon your symptoms it seems a possibility. The nasty stomach birus is still going around so it might be that as well.

I would call your regular doctor for that because it sounds flu-like and just make sure you tell him/her that you are PG. Feel better!

I didn't have flu shot but the thing is - I feel totally fine now and before this. It was just that one thing - do you think maybe it is the start of the flu?
