Oh yeah....I do this all the time. I try to just tell myself one thing at a time. I know so cliche.

Re: Ever look around your house...
Just the opposite for me. I normally feel like it's just okay and then I have days where I look around and I think how lucky I am. Maybe it's because I was so young when we bought our hours (23) and none of my friends own their own houses (many still live with parents). I think how lucky I am to live here and how nice a home I have made for myself.

Not quite house hating but there is so much we want to change/fix in this house and it's just not in the budget right now. But we love this house and property so much more than our last house it's worth waiting to fix things up.

Not hating necessarily, because it's not that we need repairs, we need to do some serious decorating. We need to paint...

I notice more imperfections as the days go by! But I am still proud to own a house :o)

Re: Ever look around your house...
I don't necessarily see all the bad stuff, but I do see a lot of projects I would like to start and a lot I still need to finish. Mostly when I look around I think of what a great transformation my house has taken in the last 7 months. It is a slow process, but I am really enjoying making it my house and everything that I want.
