So, My 90 Year Old Grandmother
Is hopping on a plane tomorrow and flying across the country to see my uncle in CA. She told my mom today she will probably be away for 2-3 months. Its kind of sad, but, believe me, my parents and sister need a little "break". (Gram lives with them).
Please  she has a safe flight! Thank You everyone!

God Bless her !!! I totally admire "the elderly" that are so strong, upbeat and living every minute to the fullest.
Iwish her a wonderful happy flight, and a wonderful few months away, hey maybe SHE's the one that needs a break from your sister and parents  totally kidding, just wanted to defend her.
I have a soft spot for grandparents!

Gram is strong. She's one of those "Age is just a number" people and she does need to get out more.

Good for her! My Grandma is 94 and lives with my parents. She still goes gambling at Foxwoods.
When my parents go away I move in and take care of her- boy they love that break!

Don't you just love it! My Gram is 92..still walks to the store, goes shopping and lives the same apartment she has lived in for 60+ years. Goes to play cards even when the weather is bad because she feels like it!
She has more drive than I do sometimes!

It does sound like you all love her very much and are very close to her.

Awww Thank You so much everyone.
I believe her flight is sooon!!! We saw her last night and she was a bit nervous, but, excited at the same time.
She is going to miss my nephew and my son (says my son will be too big when she gets back) LOL but she was excited to go.
I know she will get taken care of. My father always requests a wheel chair for her and with Jet Blue one of the workers stays with her the whole time.
