How did you...
tell family(your parents) that live far away about being pregnant?
We are thinking of getting Kaitee a Big Sister tshirt and taking some pictures and putting them on a card from winkflash or snapfish and mailing it to them. But I want to hear other cute ideas!

We called them and as soon as they answered we said
"Hello, Aunt So&So?"
My sis didnt even get it. She was like..whats up?? I waited...then it finally hit her!
ETA: It would have to be their first time becoming an Aunt/Uncle so that wouldnt work for you..sorry..preggo brain

we were pretty lucky that my parents ( from Long Island) were going to be donw at my IL's in Charleston with us... so we told them as soon as they were all together...

My mom is in Illinois and my dad is in S.Carolina. We took a trip visiting both when I was 11 weeks to tell them in person. I couldn't imagine calling them or sending them something. I bought gramma & grampa saying bibs, put them in a little box for each. I also bought gramma brag books for my mom and step mom, put in each a first sono pic, I had a bunch extra.

That's exactley what we were going to do. We were also thinking of doing an April fools joke since that is when we will be telling.

We live in a different state from both our parents. WIth DD we called them both and with this pg, we told them in person when they were here for my birthday.
