 | Teething Question... Does the pain happen at a certain time of the day?
DS was pretty good when the first two bottom teeth came in. Was fussy with his bottles but not in any pain after that.

Now he's teething again and lately he's been getting really cranky in the evening. He did nap good naps during the day (a 2 hour one and then a 1 hour one). Even when he takes shorter naps during the day he's generally ok by the evening. Now he's cranky. My guess is this time the teething hurts more? Maybe it's the top teeth that are coming in? are those generally more painful?

What can I do to ease the pain? the teethers don't do much...

 | Re: Teething Question... We are teething over here, but NO teeth yet.
But with DD she is pretty much okay during the day, sometimes the bottles get to her, but she is distratcted during the day too by her toys, walking, playing etc.

 She's bad at night.

i don't think teething pain is particular to one time of day.

 | Re: Teething Question... Sydney had four bottom teeth break through last week She has been really great actually but on two occassions she was fussy and both times it was at night right before bed. I think just like with us when we are sick, its always worse at night for whatever reason. Both of those nights I gave her a little tylenol... I also give her her teething blanket and toys as well as refrigerated teethers that definitely seem to soon her gums. | | Posted 1/18/07 2:33 PM |

 refrigerated teethers.

Those work for like maybe 5 minutes. He was cranky when we put him down and even when we held and walked around with him.
