Wish us luck for Tomorrow
Tomorrow is Damien surgery, tonsils and adenoids coming out. We have to have him at the hospital at 9:30 and his surgery is scheduled for 11:00. Pray that everything goes well. TIA

best of luck!! he will heal like a trooper the younger the better!!! i had mine out 23 and it was a nightmare!! the same time a friend ouf ours had their sons out and he was running around after 5 days!! it took me 5 weeks to fully recover from it and 3 weeks to get my voice back!!
he will be fine!!!

Good luck with everything!!
I know several children that had the same surgery - all with great results. I know it's routine, but nothing is routine when it's your own child.

GOOD LUCK TOMORROW. My son had his tonsils and adnoids out when he was 5 years old.
I'm not gonna say that it wasn't hard. He was in alot of pain coming out of surgery and he wasn't too happy with his mommy and daddy, but a few days after he was doing better playing with his toys and eating soft foods.
I would make him scrabled eggs, or some white rice and I would put a little broth in it to soften it up more.
The surgery made a world of difference. If you have any questions feel free I know what you will be going though.

oh and he sounded completly different when he talked for a while. It was funny.
