Re: If you have Geico Insurance and are married
I HATE Geico. FH's parents have Geico and he hasn't lived with them for 2 1/2 years and Geico won't drop him from the policy even though he has his own car and his own insurance. he showed proof of insurance to them, now they want proof that he is STILL insured. ***?
And he lives in LI and his parents live in brooklyn. it would be a little hard for him to be driving their car.

Is your SO required to be on your policy too?????I am really PO with this insurance company
Yes. Reason being is that you and DH now live in the same household and will be using each others vehicle.
Yes. They can run an MVR and see if his license is clean and if not, it can make some rate changes.
Reason why they stated they could drop you if you dont provide the info is because they are aware of another driver and its considered 'disclosure' and an underwriter has to right to not provide future coverage for not having info provided to them in a certain time period.
I tell everyone this, you marry someone, you also marry their DL records.
FM me Kath if you have questions of if I could possibilily help you out further

Re: If you have Geico Insurance and are married
DH is not on my policy (he has his own), but for some odd reason, they now address all the bills and info to both of us

Re: If you have Geico Insurance and are married
Just an FYI on this topic...if you have children of driving age and they are not listed on the policy (which many people do to avoid the extra cost), if they are involved in an accident, the company can collect back premium from the time they were licensed.
