Not just Disney, though that is a big one, but any "theme" that consumes adults (Disney, a sports team, a band, a celebrity, a color (I have a cousin who only wears purple??), whatever)).
Exactly! I've never been able to understand that.
My old roommate was obsessed woth purple. So much so that when I bought my couch it came in blue & purple & I chose blue, b/c I feared that She go all thematic on me if I picked the purple! (even though it was a nice eggplant shade)
Her whole room was purple.

I do agree with this. There are a lot of things that I like a lot (disney, muppets, mets, judaica, purple), and you'll find evidence of all of it in my home, but there is no one thing that pervades throughout.

... My cousin and her husband got married at Disney World, and had a themed cruise. CHEESY in my opinion.

Did you attend your cousin's wedding? Pretty far from cheesey actually. Mine was lovely, handled quite well, with me being waited on hand and foot. And I have some lovely photos with fireworks behind us from the wedding. :)
