what can i do to help samantha's ealry teething??

my lil girl is sprouting her first tooth - and she isn't evn four months...i mean, its not fully up yet but it definitely poking out and was confirmed to be eething by our two friends who are moms....(dh and I couldn't believe it - until they told us she was)

unfortunately she is so little still that all the teethers are heavy and too big for her....any suggestions???

Connor has a tooth coming in too and he won't be 4 months until Friday.

What we do is hold a cold teether we got for him in his mouth and let him gum it. He tries to hold it but it doesn't last long. I also wash my hands real good and rub his gums with my finger. Not ideal, but he really likes it.

we tried a cold teether the one day - oh boy, she hated it and screamed!!!!!

My DD got her first tooth at 3 months old. I would wash my hands and rub her gums. She loved it.

Is she too young for tylenol or anbesol or something like that if she's in a lot of pain? Does she take a pacifier? you could put it in the fridge for a little while...

My son will be 4 months on thursday and going through this!! I actually have been using an oldie but goodie trick...wet a washcloth in one corner and stick it in the freezer for a few minutes...let your baby chew on the cold cloth, it works wonders! Good luck!

i put the binkie in the freezer (pacifier) my daughter is 5 weeks old i think shes teething already my son did and had is first took very young and this is what i did for him especially at night
