I grew up without any kind of AC and always hated AC - I rathered a fan. But now I have CAC and absolutely love it!

We haven't used our C/A since we just moved in October... but that was one of the requirements for which house we bought.. it had to have C/A... I hate the way houses look with the AC's sticking out of the windows.

I love it! CAC was one of the first upgrades we did to our house. It's so much easier to regulate the temperature in the house and our bills have not been unreasonable during the Summer.

funny story about DH... he is from the midwest and also grew up in TX.
he has never NOT had CAC. the 1st time he went into my parents house he goes  what's that thing in the wall?  this was me:  is this a joke?   
he had seriously never seen a wall A/C before

I love it but we don't have it. Our home is set up with the ducts though so we are expecting to get it this first summer. It was a factor when we were looking...we loved this house and since it had the ducts set up we were okay with it...otherwise it would have been problem for us.
