I just had a leak fixed and used Curley's Plumbing in Holtsville. They looked over the job and gave a flat rate; not by the hour. They did excellent work.

my contactor used Hubbard for us, but mentioned that Benjamin Franklin? was good for emergencies

My BIL is a plumber.. he has his own business on the eastern end of LI. I'm not sure where you are, so if you live out east & want his info let me know.
