The Sunday night I dont want to go to work cry
Even though I am still on the supervisor high I truely dread this week. Tomorrow, Tuesday and Thursday I am working 12 hour days, I have 5 meetings, 2 conference calls, a new person starting, training, and the new person's desk is not set up yet.
Someone pass the cheese and crackers because I sure have to whine about this week

This weekend was waaaay too quick.
I have so much to do this week, and next weekend is shot and there are only 15 frakking days left until Christmas!!!
Where's the insanely stressed out Icon???

I know. It went so quickly.
DH got called into work today so I have no idea what time he's even getting home tonight.
Why do weekends have to go so fast. Looks like I'll need a mental health day next week. But I know me, I wont take one

I hate knowing I have to go to work and it's going to be a nightmare! Hang in there, hopefully the week will go quicky and not be so bad.
I know the feeling though; last week had to make a "staffing change" so to speak and I always hate it. I swear the night before I thought I was either going to cry or throw up.

I am not doing a staffing change but a schedule change. The new person is starting tomorrow 9 - 6 and I have to tell him ok well I need you to work 11 - 8 on Tuesday and Thursday. Thats just for this week. (and what is worst is the reason I have to do it that way is so he wont get paid overtime. Stupid me said wow first week on the job and we're already giving him overtime. So management told me change his schedule so he wont get the 2 hours each night OT)

Do you think he's going to be okay with the difference in hours? Don't kick yourself over bringing up the OT thing, more than likely if you hadn't said anything, come payroll time, someone would have brought it up and caused you grief anyway. Good luck!

Thanks. I think he will be. We spoke a good deal about hours and schedules in his interview. He told me it's just him and his dog and he has no problems with changes. And it's for 2 days this week only so I am sure he wont have a problem with it.
You're right if I didnt say anything someone else would of and the grief would have been worse

I am definitely having the Sunday night blues, that's for sure. I so don't want to go to work tomorrow and it doesn't help that I'm feeling like I'm getting sick....ughh.....can't believe the weekend is over already. May this be another fast week.....not though I really want to wish my life away!!
