North Amityville Help

Ok, I saw this listing:
Amityville Townhouse

now its priced ok for us (if we offer about 15K less...) and has been on the market for a couple of months now. My questions are:
-what is the commute & what is the closest LIRR
-how safe is the area (FM if you don't want to start any issues)

it has a garage which most of the other townhouse areas we are looking at don't and its closer in but its Copaigue Schools (not my prefrence) and doesn't have a dining area (WHICH I WANT!!).

my DH and I really don't want Amityville, but this sorta looks more like Farmingdale. Please help and if you think its worth checking out.

I would pass. Thats not such a great area (its near Farmingdale, but its on the other side of 110 and the SS, so its definitely Amityville)

Thanks Meg! Looks like we are back to holbrook/lake ronkonkoma/ronkonkoma. Just wanted to veto anything that wasn't worth it.

I agree, I'd def. pass on that location. South Amityville however is beautiful but $$$!

yea we so can't afford that. We are looking at things under 275K, not around 725K. HHEHEHEChat Icon
