i have been looking for over a year now and YES i do find a LOT of crap
even houses that look GOOD end up looking like crap in person..
VERY FRUSTRATING

ditto for us. I think it's b/c we are really particular and eliminate things that we do not rwant right away. It minimizes the crap.

believe me - if I can find a house on LI - anyone can! We did see a bunch of crap before finding ours....it might take a while, but you will find somehting.

I agree. We have been looking for about 8 months as well and now we found our house and are in contract. So just wait. The more you look the more you will appreciate "the house" when you find it. Hang in there!

I can completely relate, Kathleen! We've been looking for a month, and as you do constinuous searches, the same homes keep appearing, and the ones you pass by on the car drives to work that you love ALWAYS end up being out of your price range!
Maybe one of these days, we'll each find a dream house!

When we were looking,,I wouldnt even go look at houses that looked semi crappy because I knew once I saw it in person,,it would be total crap!!!!!
